Our Arbitrators are likewise qualified through the Florida Supreme Court Certified Arbitration Training Program pursuant to Rule 11.020, Florida Rules of Court-Appointed Arbitrators.

The high cost of litigation has resulted in a positive development in the area of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) or mediation. In mediation, the parties to a dispute are brought together in an informal setting, for a settlement conference under the direction of a Mediator who is certified by the Supreme Court of Florida. In the State of Florida, no case can proceed to trial unless a good faith effort has been made by the litigants to resolve the dispute through mediation. The successful resolution of a case through mediation can save litigants thousands of dollars in legal fees and costs. In arbitration an ADR professional or panel will decide the matter for the parties which may then be enforced by a Court.

In recognition of the growing trend toward mediation, ASW&M has established a practice. Our certified ADR professionals are available to litigants and their counsel for court ordered and private mediations and arbitrations of all civil disputes throughout Florida.
